NOTE: When you are logged in to the website you will see your name at the top of any page. Click on your name anytime to go to Your Information Page.
Logging in brings you to "Your Information page"(blue). Add your information, and picture.
- Name, birth year and place of birth are required, but please complete the rest of the information.
- In the bio (biography) please say something about yourself, marriage info, schools, hobbies, interests, etc.
- The Internet links are for your own Website, Facebook, page, or a Email., To help you stay in touch with other family members.
Your Internet links have two spaces.
(1.) Make up any name for the link.
(2.) The actual Internet address. This begins with http://... For example your Facebook address will read something like "https://facebook.com/john.doe1234". Copy and paste your address / email into the second form space.
When you are logged in, click on the persons name in the tree, and then click on "I have the Info for...".
Only children can be added to the tree. Anyone on the tree can have children added, then those children's children, and so on...
IMPORTANT: The names of children should be added from their parents page in birth order. That is the order they will appear on the tree.
At the bottom of Your Information page you will see a list of children / descendants (if any), and "Others Information page" (beige). The other names you have input info for. You can click on them to edit, add their children, or pass the page to someone else.
The tree is a interactive record, designed to grow with the family. This is done by adding children to a parents page.
If the name on the tree is a grand parent, or greater and ancestors are missing leading to you, you can join the tree as the ancestor, then complete the limb of the tree one by one until you get to the present. You will need to have the missing ancestors basic info.
